During my Easter stay, there were a few things that I really enjoyed about this hotel. the location was amazing, just a stone's throw away from the beach. It was so convenient to be able to walk to the ocean within seconds. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any queries or requests. I really appreciated the communal meals provided by the hotel. It was a great opportunity to meet other guests and share stories while enjoying a delicious meal.
There were a couple of aspects that I was not too pleased with during my stay. the room fans were a bit slow, and I found them to be inadequate in providing a cool atmosphere.

The dorm with the high ceiling and individual fans made for a comfortable stay. The BBQ nights were a highlight, with the most delicious food on the island. The beach bar showed surf films and provided a great atmosphere. Being so close to the beach and kitesurfing spots was amazing. I had an amazing time at this beachfront hotel! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the restaurants, kitesurfing schools, and diving center. The view from my room was stunning, overlooking the ocean. The bungalow may have been small, but it had everything I needed, including a nice big bathroom. The pool and sun beds were a great addition, perfect for lazy afternoons in the sun.
That the communal suppers seemed disorganized and it was unclear if they were happening.

I had a fantastic time at Drifters Zanzibar! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the owner and invited to join their group for a beer at the bar. The hostel has a beautiful pool that is much bigger than it appears in pictures, and it creates a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. The entire place is kept very clean, and the rustic and natural feel adds to its charm. The staff, especially the guys at the bar, were incredible and always made sure I had a great time during my stay. Plus, the bar offers cheaper beers compared to other places on the beach. And speaking of the beach, it's just a quick 10-second walk away, with plenty of bars to choose from if you want to explore the nightlife.
While the atmosphere outside of the room was amazing, the comfort inside left a bit to be desired. I stayed in a mixed dormitory, and unfortunately, there were no lockers or storage space available.

I had a wonderful time at Drifters Zanzibar. The location was perfect, with plenty of parties and restaurants within walking distance. The lounge area above the bar offered stunning views of the beach, and it was a great spot to relax. Despite a small hiccup with our room, the staff quickly resolved the issue and we ended up enjoying our private balcony as we had originally booked. Drifters Zanzibar provided a budget-friendly and relaxed stay in Paje. I would highly recommend it.

The location of the hotel was perfect, with plenty of options for food and entertainment nearby. the bar was a great place to hang out and meet people, and the bartender was excellent. the swimming pool was a nice alternative to swimming in the sea, and the atmosphere was vibrant and social.
The dorm room was not very comfortable, with crowded beds that were wobbly and close together. the lack of lockers and limited space for luggage storage was inconvenient.
